New Ways To Workout This Fall

If you’re like me then going to the gym has become more of a job than anything else. I noticed I had no desire to go to the gym anymore, causing me to force myself into going. Overall, this was hurting me more than it was helping. I decided I wanted to take matters into my own hands and find exciting new ways to workout this fall. Here are all of the different classes I have tried and my experience with each:

Pure Barre

My absolute favorite! Pure Barre is a great way to burn calories and have fun during the process. Pure Barre has Classic classes which focus on toning, Empower classes which focus on cardio and the newest class Reform which combines the two. I suggest for beginners to try out Classic first and work your way up. You will need socks with grips on the bottom and a comfortable exercise outfit. You won’t regret signing up for Pure Barre!

Hot Yoga

Another great way to get in shape this fall is to try hot yoga. Hot yoga allows you to relax and detox your body of everything negative. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, but if not most yoga studios have extra. Don’t forget water, you will need to drink a lot of water before, during and after class. Lastly, bring a towel with you to lay on top of your mat. This will help you not slip during class. Hot yoga will allow you to get a great workout in while forgetting about any stress you had that day.

If you are in need of tummy toning, pilates is the way to go. Pilates was not exactly for me but my abs got a workout of a lifetime. They make it fun with music and constantly changing the pace of your workout. If you are someone who likes a high energy workout, I suggest trying a pilates class.

Spin Class

If you like bike riding then maybe spin class is the way you should try getting your exercise in this fall. Spin combines cardio, abs and legs depending on where you go. Spin is a full body workout where you wont realize you lost your breath until the end. The music will be blasting and your teacher will look as though they are not breaking a sweat, but trust me this is a workout you won’t forget.

Anyway you choose to exercise, make sure it is the right way for you. Listen to your body and pick something you enjoy. If you are forcing yourself to do something you hate then it is most likely not going to help you get the results you desire. Take it from me and switch up your workout routine if you find yourself dreading your current one.
